The EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 is a serious home backup system, with 4 kWh of capacity and both 120V and 240V output. It’s more than most people need for a fridge and Wi-Fi, and at 113.5 lb it isn’t something you’ll want to lift.
We wrote this review from EcoFlow’s published figures, reviewed in November 2026, and we haven’t tested the DELTA Pro 3.

Who is the EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 for?
- Homeowners planning for long outages
- People with 240V loads
- Anyone building a system that may grow over time
Skip it if you only need essentials for a few hours, or need to carry your station up stairs.
EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 strengths
240V output: it has 120V and 240V ports, including a NEMA L14-30, which few portable stations offer.
Room to grow: two extra batteries take one unit to 12 kWh. EcoFlow’s 48 kWh figure needs a much larger system with three units.
Battery rating: 4,000 cycles to 80% capacity is stronger than the F3800 Plus’s listed 3,000+ cycles.
EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 weaknesses
Size: at 113.54 lb, you’ll rely on its wheels, and stairs will be hard.
Standard output: 4,000 W is lower than the F3800 Plus’s 6,000 W, unless you use X-Boost.
Overkill for small loads: a 4 kWh system is more than a small essentials setup needs.
Who it's for: Homeowners who want 120V and 240V backup and may add batteries over time.
Strengths
- Expands to 12 kWh on one unit, more as a multi-unit system
- 120V and 240V output
- Rated to keep 80% capacity after 4,000 cycles
Weaknesses
- Lower continuous output than the F3800 Plus
- More capacity than small essential loads need
How long will the EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 run?

| Load | Estimated runtime |
|---|---|
| 100 W | About 35 hours |
| 500 W | About 7 hours |
| 1,000 W | About 3.5 hours |

How to choose
The DELTA Pro 3 fits if you want long runtime, 240V, and the option to expand. If you need more standard output or solar input, compare it with the Anker SOLIX F3800 Plus. If you’re unsure how much you need, see our power outage picks and sizing guide.
FAQ
Can it run central air?
EcoFlow says it can power a 3-ton central AC. Runtime will be far shorter than with lighter loads, so check your unit’s label first.
Can it connect to my home’s circuits?
Connecting the DELTA Pro 3 to your home’s circuits needs a proper transfer switch or compatible system, installed by a licensed electrician. EcoFlow notes that its Smart Home Panel 2 requires installation.
Does it work with old DELTA Pro batteries?
EcoFlow says the DELTA Pro Smart Extra Battery is supported on the DELTA Pro 3. The newer DELTA Pro 3 Extra Battery doesn’t work on the original DELTA Pro.
