PowerPicked Editorial is the byline for the guides on this site. It covers portable power stations, solar panels, and related buying guides.

How we work

The guides explain the numbers on a spec sheet and show how to apply them to your own devices. We have not tested the products on this site. We rely on manufacturer specifications and say so.

How we check specs

• We take product details from each maker’s own product page.
• For ebooks, we use each book’s Amazon listing. We have not read the books we list.
• Runtime and capacity-per-pound figures are our own calculations from those published numbers, and we state the assumptions we use.
• If we can’t find a figure on the maker’s page, we say so instead of guessing.
• Each guide shows when it was last updated.
